I cannot build stuff with dev-langlazarus-1.6.0:
* https://github.com/gentoo-science/sci/issues/596
* https://github.com/gentoo-science/sci/issues/597

Apparently ( https://github.com/gentoo-science/sci/issues/596#issuecomment-188778927 ) this is because lazarus-1.6.0 requires FPC 3. There is however no FPC3 in portage, and lazarus-1.6.0 is set to be satisfied by an earlier fpc version:

isis6 chymera # equery d dev-lang/fpc
 * These packages depend on dev-lang/fpc:
dev-lang/lazarus-1.6.0 (>=dev-lang/fpc-2.6.4[source])
