Hi,

I just tried to go to dyndnsupdate homepage which is displayed when I do "emerge -s dyndnsupdate". The homepage doesn't exist any more...

dyndnsupdate homepage seems to be moved. new one is http://lillesvin.linux.dk/dyndnsupdate/

Actually, after writing an updated ebuild (the site you mentioned says latest version is 0.8) and messing with it the last hour, I am pretty sure that these are two different projects with the same name.

True, the other site doesn't resolve (maybe the project has been discontinued).  I started with the 0.16.5 ebuild and by the time I was done with it, it looked like  a completely different ebuild.

0.16.5 is written in C and has a config at /etc/dyndnsupdate.conf, while version 0.8 is written in bash and uses /etc/dyndns.hosts.  With the exception of the files 'dyndnsupdate' and 'README', there are no other commonalities between the two packages.

sry... My fault.. 

So the url for the homepage can't be fixed? (so I would change to WONTFIX?)
