After attempting to use some of Gentoo blogs (at least those using 'Twenty Fifteen' theme) on my phone, all I get is some pulsing ellipsis. The blog page never shows while the loading stops. Happens on Android 5.0, chrome 48.0.2564.95 (up-to-date)
blueknight: this is likely what I remembered about needing to update the default themes. Seems like we'll have to do it for anyone using the "Twenty Fifteen" theme.
Michael, The Email went out about the "Twenty Fifteen" feed, on gentoo-dev. It encouraged developers to switch to another theme that is available including "Twenty Sixteen". https://archives.gentoo.org/gentoo-dev/message/37ed788f3cc3346eaf7ea7f9d033f9ef While I can go in and change the theme for all those using it, it goes in to the realm of changing content, since the look of their blog (Even though there is no look now), will change to something else. Please feel free to poke the developers (or prod, whip, etc) who have not taken any action to do so.
Bad news. I've switched to 'Twenty Sixteen' on my blog and still got the same result on phone. Before you ask, yes, I've refreshed.
Ok traced it down to this Plugin: WordPress Mobile Pack WordPress Mobile Pack 2.0+ has been completely rebuilt from the ground up and repurposed to empower bloggers, publishers and other content creators to go beyond responsiveness and 'appify' the content of their blog. ______________________________ I have disabled it for now so you should be working again.
Please confirm this is working would like to close the bug.
Well, I can confirm that it works once I manually disabled it in my blog settings. So I guess every other Gentoo blog will have to do the same.
