it seems that I can't use sandbox??




 ps ax |grep [p]ython
20877 pts/3    SN     0:00 python2.2 /usr/bin/emerge fam-oss

ls -al /etc/ld.so.preload
-not found-

no sandbox running according to ps ax |grep [s]and


 grep FEATURES /etc/make.globals

FEATURES="sandbox ccache"



 grep FEATURES /etc/make.conf 
#FEATURES="digest cvs sandbox noclean noauto"
FEATURES="digest sandbox" 
FEATURES="sandbox"


sandbox is installed and works on shells.

 ls -al /usr/lib/portage/bin/sandbox 
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root        14400 Jul 28 21:59 /usr/lib/portage/bin/sandbox

 qpkg -f /usr/lib/portage/bin/sandbox  -v
sys-apps/portage-2.0.21 *


gcc 3.1-r8, athlon

running :
sandbox

exit
will give  a working sanbox log.


I'm kind of stumped here.

Will be fixed in 2.0.22
