I'm afraid the ebuild attached is only valid when paired with corresponding change to profiles/input_devices.desc. I will have a look soon, I don't have gentoo installation at hand currently, made a big mistake and installed Manjaro on my new desktop. Will find time to upgrad eto gentoo...

That's a fairly minor short coming or error. Still awaiting an ebuild or a diff patch form maintianer .
Sincerely apologies... I finally managed to get some time to first unf**k my git fork of gentoo portage on old laptop, and finally create new ebuilds. Pull request here: https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/1116 I will try to not delay it that much next time!
