Description Gregorio Guidi (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-07-17 09:58:57 UTC
The following patch removes all the occurrencies of xfs-sources and gaming-sources from the handbook (both removed from the portage tree).

Plus, it removes an option of 2.6 kernels that is not present anymore.

Comment 2 Xavier Neys (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-07-17 10:11:49 UTC
Before I apply blindly, dev/pts is still available, so why remove it (not that it is required AFAIK) and why only from x86 ?
Comment 3 Gregorio Guidi (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-07-17 10:40:12 UTC
The dev/pts was removed (enabled by default) in 2.6.4, IIRC. At that time it
was introduced a "legacy" support related to dev/pts in char devices which can be safely ignored.

The fact that it is only in x86 is my error. Sorry.

Thanks for your comment. I'll apply and remove dev/pts from other arches as well.

Committed. Thanks.
