Hello,
attached you can find sendfile.tar.gz which contains the ebuild for sendfile-2.1a
and a patch to make it merge cleanly.

Sendfile is a SAFT implementation for UNIX and serves as a tool for asynchronous
sending of files in the Internet, conserving their file attributes.
You can find the homepage here http://www.belwue.de/projekte/saft/sendfile-us.html

I would suggest net-misc/sendfile as the place to store it

sendfile.tar.gz (updated sendfile-2.1a.ebuild + patch)

This is the updated version of the ebuild, cleaned it up a bit
but no big changes.

Hmm, I think I was a little bit too fast with submiting this ...
There are still problems which need to be resolved, I hope I can get
it working soon, the ebuilds attached by now are not funktional, they
build but there are problems when you want to actually use it.

Ok, sorry for my mistake, I hope to get a working version up soon

This is a hopefully working version of the ebuild, at least for me it works
without problems, but if you find something please mail me and I will try to
fix it.
