When USE flag "convert" is set on media-sound/beets-1.3.13, it pulls in ffmpeg. This is unnecessary, however, as the convert package can be customized in the beets configuration - it's fully possible to use this to convert whichever formats one likes by just writing the appropriate command lines to do so. There's no reason why it should require ffmpeg, say, rather than libav or neither (for users who want to convert using some entirely different program). Or if you really must have the ffmpeg USE flag, please add a similar libav USE flag so I can choose which one I want to require. Thank you! Reproducible: Always
