Description Branko Grubic 2016-01-26 09:01:33 UTC
Latest portage snapshot available is '20160124', we are missing '20160125'.
There is no known issues on infra-status.g.o

I'm sorry if I missed the project under which this should be filed.

Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 Martin Volf 2016-01-27 06:43:31 UTC
The problem still exists. I have checked several mirrors and the latest portage snapshot is still 20160124. E.g.

http://seal.cs.uni.edu/snapshots/

http://gentoo.mirror.web4u.cz/snapshots/

http://mirror.netcologne.de/gentoo/snapshots/
and many more.

And https://infra-status.gentoo.org/ pretends everything is ok

I can confirm it. The funny thing is that the squashfs images are updated.
Comment 4 and 2016-01-27 19:09:26 UTC
confirmed and waiting :)

(snapshots/squashfs/gentoo-current.sqfs is outdated too but this is another issue)
Comment 5 Guillaume Ceccarelli 2016-01-28 14:16:48 UTC
Not sure if it's related, but I'm getting this while extracting the last available snapshot:

Getting snapshot timestamp ...
Syncing local tree ...
tar: portage/metadata/.checksum-test-marker: time stamp 2017-06-29 19:25:21 is 44773982.362206814 s in the future

timestamp problem confusing a script maybe?

No, that file deliberately has a future timestamp, see bug 572578 for details and discussion on squashing the false positive warning.

Missing snapshots are now in place.
25/26 are just copies of 24 to reduce any issues with the deltas.

Thanks for fixing. But what about the portage-latest.tar.bz2 ?
From http://distfiles.gentoo.org/snapshots/ it looks presently like not being updated.

*.tar.xz are also missing starting from 28 January. I think it is a different bug.
