Try to emerge -U world, go to ftp://ftp.ussg.iu.edu/pub/linux/gentoo/distfiles/ and file not found. Then tries http://sdlperl.org/downloads/ and get 404 Not Found. Neither location has the file. Emerge rysnc again. Same problem again when try to emerge world or that file itself. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Emerge rsync 2. Emerge -U world 3. No file to download or in the case of http://sdlperl.org/downloads/ 404 Actual Results: Aborts emerge of World. Checked 1st location and only SDL_perl-1.20.0.tar.gz is there. SDL_perl-1.20.3.tar.gz is not. Expected Results: To download SDL_perl-1.20.3.tar.gz
Take a look at sdlper.org, btw... website seems to be down at the moment, I only get "under construction"
I found a copy of it here: http://bloodgate.com/perl/sdl/pub/SDL_perl-1.20.3.tar.gz It installed OK with the ebuild. However, it caused the following problem with frozen-bubble so I had to switch back to 1.20.0: [SDL Init] Not a HASH reference at /usr/games/bin/frozen-bubble line 310. Is this an SDL-perl problem or frozen-bubble? I'll file a bug report under frozen-bubble if it will help.

I opened a second bug for frozen-bubble: bug #57372
