Yes, reason being libreoffice (among others) needs a rebuild after boost upgrade. Did something interrupt the automatic rebuild?
My problem is that after a certain portage sync, libreoffice requires boost::0/1.56.0=, while ardour requires boost::0/1.58.0=, and these two cannot be installed on the same system. I have both media-sound/ardour-4.6 and app-office/libreoffice-5.0.4.2 installed ATM, with boost::0/1.58.0. However further updates want to downgrade boost to ::0/1.56.0
What version of sys-apps/portage do you have? You could be experiencing bug 566024 which is fixed in sys-apps/portage-2.2.27.
I've got sys-apps/portage-2.2.27 installed since 2016-01-20. Today, it seems that the latest world rebuild succeeded in bringing my system in order. I have boost::1/58 installed and I see no more conflicts over boost version.
If it is resolved, could you change the status to reflect that please?
