Description Stephen Davis 2004-07-15 04:11:00 UTC
OpenGL applications (tested: xmms opengl spectrum analyzer, glxgears, tuxracer) draw incorrectly (lines always have one end at the top-left corner instead of where they should be). In tuxracer it does not affect trees, herring, the background, the start line etc. but the main menu doesn't show. strace shows nothing unusual, and nothing out of the ordinary is shown by dmesg or in Xorg.0.log, or in the output of the programs (glxgears reports 250-odd fps, tuxracer plays its sound).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
I. Run tuxracer / glxgears / ... from anywhere.
II. Watch the laser light show.

Actual Results:
Application draws lines from the top-left corner to seemingly random locations,
though in roughly correct colours.

Expected Results:
Draw 3D images in the right place.

ePSXe, quake3 and zsnes all also display nothing when in their OpenGL modes, tuxracer seems to be the exception

Thanks for posting this and letting us know about it. Could you please move it upstream to bugs.freedesktop.org, in the DRI product, and CC me on the bug?

Thanks again.

This was fixed over a year ago, so it should be in all current X versions.
