Finally a displaylink driver has been released for USB3 version of docking stations (e.g. Dell XPS)

Someone has provided a first attempt at an ebuild here:
http://gpo.zugaina.org/x11-drivers/displaylink-driver

This should get into the tree, many people use laptops with these (until now useless...) docking stations.
