GDB backtrace

Combination of
* www-client/firefox-43.0
* media-libs/mesa-11.1.0[video_cards_intel] (or [video_cards_i965])
* An Intel card that lshw reports as "driver=i915" (not i965)
* YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1o-c4Yknm0

Downgrading to media-libs/mesa-11.0.7 fixes the problem.

PS: The same video does not lead to segfault in www-client/google-chrome-beta-48.0.2564.48_p1.

Does this still happen in mesa-11.2.0?
Comment 3 Matt Turner gentoo-dev 2016-04-21 04:48:39 UTC
Is there an upstream bug on freedesktop.org?
Comment 4 Matt Turner gentoo-dev 2016-04-21 04:51:28 UTC
Actually, I suspect it was fixed by commit 70dff4a55e on the 11.1 mesa branch. I pushed 11.1.2-r1 (bug 574912) with this patch, and 11.1.3 has the fix.

I'm going to speculatively mark as FIXED. Reopen if you can reproduce with 11.1.3 or 11.2.x.
