"BOSSA" is used to program ARM microcontrollers from ATMEL, so-called "SAM".
It's kinda like dev-embedded/avrdude (which work for Atmel "AVR"s).

It's based on gtk.

The original code is from http://www.shumatech.com/web/products/bossa, but it's been untouched for quite some time.

The most recent stuff i've found is on : https://github.com/shumatech/BOSSA/
It has tags such as 1.6.1-arduino
