The new version works with the old ebuild:

1) download workrave into /usr/portage/distfiles
2) cd /usr/portage/app-misc/workrave
3) cp workrave-1.6.1.ebuild workrave-1.6.2.ebuild
4) ebuild workrave-1.6.2.ebuild digest
5) emerge workrave-1.6.2

This version solves the problem some people were having 
with workrave not detecting idling after having clicked
with the mouse once.

It also solves bug #52093

Added 1.6.2 now.
