When I try to update my mod_php it errors while calculating deps. what java stuff if any do you have installed? on my system it brings in dev-java/blackdown-jdk-1.4*
I use kaffe.
unmerging kaffe seems to solve my problem but does that mean i can't use kaffe with it
kaffe does NOT work for compiling PHP. install blackdown-jdk or sun-jdk in addition to kaffe, then use java-config to select them for compiling php.
