Gentoo Linux nVidia Guide does not mention Loading of "glx" and commenting of "dri" in the X config file.

Besides this , the document tell us to 
#emerge nvidia-glx nvidia-kernel
actually, this will emerge nvidia-kernel first because nvidia-glx depends on nvidia-kernel.
"#emerge nvidia-kernel nvidia-glx" may be a better statement.
