euse cannot manage /etc/portage/make.conf beeing a directory

A missing profiles/use.desc should not throw the above error I think.

Please put something useful in the bug summary; "complains" means nothing.

Improved subject somewhat, just found it difficult to find a subject descriptive and short enough. I hope this will do.
