patch to solve this bug

The patch included in portage has several issues:

1. formatting is broken, e.g. because of missing "\n"
2. the option -b shows wrong/incomplete instructions
3. the wording is inconsistent

Btw., the option -q has no description overall.

A patch is attached to solve points 1 - 3 basically.
