Hi, I'd like to get the process underway for Renat Lumpau (rl03 on IRC). I'm offering to be his mentor, as he's interested in the webapp stuff. Best regards, Stu
oh! thanks for picking him up, stuart :) I'd neglected to do so this past week.
Heh - fight you for him ;-)
My email is lumpau@freeshell.org
Hello, Renat has completed his quiz. What happens now? Thanks, Stu
He waits out the rest of his eval period which ends 2 weeks from when the bug is filed, then one of us takes him through the new dev quiz, makes sure there are no problems. If there are any, we mark the bug with them. If all is well, his accounts are set up. I'll take this one.
Okay, thanks for that update. Best regards, Stu
He's set. If there's any questions, please let me know.
Changing bug titles to comply with new developer bug title conformance standards, sorry for the spam.
Dear Renat, Possible retirement pending as you haven't shown any activity in the past two months. - Last (viewable) bugzilla activity: 183228: 2007-08-05 00:15:26 - Last CVS activity: Sun Aug 5 00:15:19 UTC 2007 If you are just away, then please use the devaway system. Please be advised that devaway may also be considered inactive if it extends past 60 days. Please reply and advise on your situation. Any developer found to be inactive for a period in excess of 60 days is subject to be retired. Please be aware that if we have not heard from you within 2 weeks time, we will begin the retirement process. If we do retire you, it's pretty easy to come back when you are ready. Just do the ebuild/end-quiz again and you're back on.
As Renat stated by email, he's still around. Closing therefore.
- Last (viewable) bugzilla activity: 205905: 2008-01-29 23:31:12 - Last CVS activity: 7.56 months ago at 20:42 on Jan 27, 2008 I've sent Renat his first retirement mail today.
Trustees, please advise how we should proceed with this bug. If Renat isn't participating in the Foundation business anymore, he is subject to retirement since he has lost his last employment within Gentoo that would justify him being a dev. On the other hand, if he's still active as a Foundation person, we should convert his access to staffer (similar to Matthew's). Could you please sort Renat's role out by the end of October? (this is the right bug).
Renat is out of the country and will be back in November. On hold till then.
trustees: you had your meeting, what is to be done with this bug?
Okay, I talked to Neddy today and we've decided to only downgrade Renat's account. Infra, please revoke Renat's CVS access (change his account into one similar to Matthew Summers' one).
CVS access removed 2009/03/14.
Renat is a staffer now.
- removed from metadata.xml
Folks, I think it's time for me to retire fully. Renat
Let's proceed with the retirement then.
All infra processing done. planet, overlays, forums: yours now.

I've now removed Stuart from the cvs, cvstrustees, svn, svnphp and git groups on cvs.gentoo.org.
(In reply to comment #26) > I've now removed Stuart from the cvs, cvstrustees, svn, svnphp and git groups > on cvs.gentoo.org. Sorry, I meant I've removed Renat from the groups.
