It seems ssh still hangs at fulong-spark.mips64.dev.gentoo.org after a few months :).
i haven't been able to find a stable kernel for the system. the vanilla ones are flaky, as are the upstream ones, and i have a hard time even building them in the first place (using Gentoo toolchains causes immediate crashes if they build at all, and need to use old Debian compilers to get something to boot). i've tried talking to upstream, but i get the feeling QA is not a top priority for these guys. so until this improves, i'm afraid the box will just keep locking up :(.
I think this box died; and its not an infra box in any case.
FWIW, I'm in possession of the system. jmorgan brought it to me from OSUOSL a year or two ago for me to attempt to set it up again. Unfortunately I can't get any sign of life from it. Tried a known-good power supply with the same result.
