Attached is ebuild to create the environment needed by the ferret-5.70 binary package.  Ferret is a scientific analysis packaged for gridded geophysical data developed by the TMAP project at PMEL, NOAA.  This should probably go into app-sci/.  This package is fairly useless without the ferret-bin-5.70.ebuild and ferret-data-5.70.ebuild, which I will submit next.

No comments have been made on this bug report for some time.
Is anyone still interested in integration of this package? 

If yes, please indicate that here in this bug report.

Otherwise we'll resolve the bug in the near future, since sci(-*) has
an extremely large number of pending package requests and we would like
to focus...
