Created attachment 417184 [details] gnumeric-file-menu.png Following issue, described in bug #565568 I've noticed similiar issue in some other gtk applications. The first is =app-office/gnumeric-1.12.23. First (File) menu is significantly broken. Primarily in standard items. See attached screenshot. Localization of all other menus is almost completely correct. Prepareing this example I've seen similiar issue in =media-gfx/gimp-2.8.14-r1: non-standard menu items "Export" and "Export As" are displayed not localized. But after exporting screenshot ("Export" command was extended by filename argument) first command became localized ("Экспортировать в gnumeric-file-menu.png"). $ einfo Portage 2.2.20.1 (python I remember this issue for long ago. Confirmed in =app-office/gnumeric-1.12.24. So, removing minor version from bug's title.
What is the status of this with 1.12.25? On that, in spanish, the only missing translation if about "Print preview", but that is an upstream issue due to a missing translation of that concrete string and, then, it should be reported to bugzilla.gnome.org directly

Although, I use arch system and updated to ~arch only app-office/gnumeric. Maybe, this bug's fix requires to update some othe package(s?).

This is an upstream problem with their translations team as I see

Upstream's resolution (INVALID) don't promises fix. As for me it will be right to keep this bug open as a reminder to operate with GNOME translation team.
The issue is an upstream problem, we are not able to fix russian translation errors, neither able to keep its translations updated. Try to contact the last translators: https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnumeric/tree/po/ru.po If that fails, maybe you could mail gnumeric upstream to offer your help for continuing the russian translation if you pretend to do so
