Description Oleh 2015-11-17 05:49:49 UTC
=net-p2p/amule-2.3.1-r1, which is build against wxGTK:3.0 exhibits memory leaks and very quick RAM saturation and CPU hog. Downgrade to 2.3.1 (wxGTK:2.8) makes it behave normally. A similar problem reported on Arch Linux bugtracker aswell.
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/38529

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge net-p2p/amule-2.3.1-r1

Bug 465084 revisited I guess. Not sure if you should reopen that or continue here.

up-to net-p2p herd to decide. My take is that amule/wxGTK:3.0 support is incomplete and 2.3.1-r1 need a mask.
Comment 4 Alexander Tsoy 2016-02-05 23:35:31 UTC
wxGTK:3.0 support has been removed as a result of resolving merge conflicts :)
