Description Maik Schreiber 2002-07-27 14:55:02 UTC
When compiling alsa-driver-0.9.0_rc2 with mjc-sources-2.4.19_rc1 in use, it
fails with the PDE function being redefined. The attached patch fixes this by
removing this function in alsa-driver.

NOTE: I'm not sure how to detect mjc-sources in the ebuild, so I've left that
out. I really don't think it is a good idea to blindly commit this patch without
verifying that it works okay with the other kernel sources. (For example,
alsa-driver works just fine with vanilla-sources *without* this patch.)

will look at this some more when or if I integrate ALSA into the kernel
Comment 4 Jay Pfeifer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-04-27 02:51:25 UTC
well, this is later as alsa is still not in gentoo-sources and isn't looking to be soon.
