Strange. Could you please rerun this with JAVA_PKG_DEBUG="yes" and attach the log? Thanks.

I take it you already have jflex-1.6.1 installed as this package requires it. Do you have an older version of javacup already installed? This is a cyclic dependency but I tried to ensure that only the latest versions of jflex and javacup are used, otherwise jflex builds against the bundled version of javacup the first time around. I tested both scenarios so the implication here is that you somehow built jflex against an older version of javacup. Is there a hole in my logic somewhere?
Comment 5 James Le Cuirot gentoo-dev 2015-11-10 16:34:47 UTC
Figured it out! I wonder how you managed to stumble across this by accident. You have to...

* Build jflex against the bundled javacup
* Build the new javacup
* Build jflex against the new javacup
* Build the new javacup again -> BOOM!

For some stupid reason, javacup 11b bundles javacup 11a. I'm very tired right now but I'll have a think about how to solve this.

This was a tricky one but it should be fixed now.
