Description Harris Landgarten 2015-11-01 17:36:19 UTC
Since the upgrade sites with stored username/passwords no longer login to those sites. When username/password is reentered manually Chrome offers to save the password but it still is not available.

The following error appears in the logs repeatedly as passwords are requested:

** Message: Remote error from secret service: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.InvalidArgs: The secret was transferred or encrypted in an invalid way.
Nov 01 09:16:04 harrisl-desktop google-chrome-beta.desktop[3368]: [3368:3400:1101/091604:ERROR:native_backend_libsecret.cc(476)] Libsecret add raw login failed: The secret was transferred or encrypted in an inva
lid way.

Looking at seahorse, the site info is still in my login folder with passwords.

I am running a combo of gnome-3.18 and 3.16 and using gnome-overlay but this behavior is only since last update Friday and nothing has changed in gnome, gnome-keyring or seahorse.
