"dohard" and "dosed" are banned since EAPI 4: https://projects.gentoo.org/pms/5/pms.html#x1-13000011.3.3.2 (Apparantly, dosed was never documented in the devmanual.) "dohtml" has been deprecated by the council: https://projects.gentoo.org/council/meeting-logs/20140909-summary.txt Should a note be added to dohard and dohtml about their status, or should they be removed altogether (except for the section describing EAPI changes)? Teaching concepts that are no longer in active use seems pointless to me.
This is fixed in https://gitweb.gentoo.org/proj/devmanual.git/commit/?id=776588638625eb36da8eef9d0092f660406a28a5. dohard is removed, ban and deprecation notes are added for einstall and dohtml. Feel free to reopen if the fix isn't satisfactory.
