Hi. I had notice following warning during boot 30.10.15 08:15:13 gentoo ksysguardd[6601] cannot open config file '"/etc/ksysguarddrc"' so, it meaning that ksysguardd looking for ksysguarddrc contains quotes... (when it isn't actually contain any quotes) and ksysguard itself starts slow, not immediately. Then I made attached patch that fixing entry with irrelevant quotes in ksysguarddrc name in CMakeLists.txt Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start KDE session 2. Look at system logs and find mentioned warning 3. Run ksysguard and note that it starts slow. Actual Results: 1. Mentioned warning about quoted ksysguarddrc 2. Ksysguard starts slow Expected Results: 1. Mentioned warning about quoted ksysguarddrc shouldn't be appeared 2. Ksysguard starts normally
Created attachment 415734 [details, diff] ksysguard-4.11.22_quotes_fix.patch Small patch fixing that issue :)
This issue was fixed by upstream already(?), but anyway it comes again in package kde-base/ksysguard-4.11.22 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=199734
