When opening the command window via ':', no text keys are detected.  Cursor movements, control characters, and tab are detected though.  The same is true for search ('/' and '?').

Strangely after tab is pressed, text keys are recognized, but only until the command window is opened again.

A bug has been filed (http://bugs.pwmt.org/issue513), but given that gentoo portage is common between the two issues, it seems possible it may be portage specific.

The version is 0.3.3.

It works if i build girara by hand.

Okay, girara is allergic to clang. CC=gcc fixed the problem.
