>>> Installing (1 of 20) media-fonts/nanumfont-2.0-r1::gentoo
 * This package will overwrite one or more files that may belong to other
 * packages (see list below). You can use a command such as `portageq
 * owners / <filename>` to identify the installed package that owns a
 * file. If portageq reports that only one package owns a file then do
 * NOT file a bug report. A bug report is only useful if it identifies at
 * least two or more packages that are known to install the same file(s).
 * If a collision occurs and you can not explain where the file came from
 * then you should simply ignore the collision since there is not enough
 * information to determine if a real problem exists. Please do NOT file
 * a bug report at http://bugs.gentoo.org unless you report exactly which
 * two packages install the same file(s). See
 * http://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Knowledge_Base:Blockers for tips on how to
 * solve the problem. And once again, please do NOT file a bug report
 * unless you have completely understood the above message.

media-fonts/nanum-2.0-r1::gentoo was built with the following:
USE="X (policykit)" ABI_X86="64"
Comment 2 Guilherme Amadio gentoo-dev 2015-10-29 17:02:55 UTC
Please remove media-fonts/nanumfont and use only media-fonts/nanum. They are the same ebuild. The second one is the new name/version. I have to remove the old one from the tree. Once the old versions are removed, no more collisions will happen.
Comment 3 Dennis Schridde 2015-10-29 17:39:56 UTC
There should be a blocker in the new ebuild, blocking the old one (and vice versa).

And some packages still seem to depend on the old ebuild (nanumfont), as portage tries to install it, without it being installed currently.

$ equery depends media-fonts/nanumfont
 * These packages depend on media-fonts/nanumfont:
media-fonts/infinality-ultimate-meta-1 (linguas_ko ? media-fonts/nanumfont)

Thanks. When I did the same check, no package turned up. I will change the dependency and add the blockers.

If I remember correctly, equery needs to be run with some argument to also operate on not-installed ebuilds.

I had used git grep, but thanks for the tip!

I updated the dependency and removed the old ebuild. Now everything should be fixed.
