Have been busy lately, haven't had any spare time whatsoever :/
Please verify this ebuild works on gcc-5 without the gcc-5-patch. It built for me with gcc-4.9.

Using your ebuild and gcc-5.2 here it failed with this error:
JsonSchemaBuilder: Command not found

It seems that they fixed this issue for kodi-15.1 in

bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=558798
commit: https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/commit/89417912ce79d5e1f497625ce13ed02b2003b08b

Your ebuild already included that fix, so I removed the "USE=java conditional" to make the ebuild always run

"tc-env_build emake -f codegenerator.mk"

and that allowed me to compile kodi-15.2
Comment 4 Konstantin (elxa) 2015-11-07 02:27:43 UTC
( If you compile kodi-15.2 with USE=java you won't have this issue. )
