Last release Jan 2007. Upstream maintainer seems not to respond to mail.

Has three issues open right now:

1. bug #472696 for static linking,

2. bug #209018 for uclibc portability,

3. https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/176 for cross-compilation.

Carries a few big hacks already, including ones for amd64 support. I'd say we should treeclean it. What do you think?
