Description Adrien D 2015-10-24 13:29:59 UTC
Hi,

I have a problem with VirtualBox since 5.0.x versions.

When I start a VirtualMachine, the sound on the host machine is bad (not the Output sound, for example, speakers or headphones, but the input sound for example microphone).
Sound is good into virtual machine.

I use on host : pulseaudio 7.0.

It's problematic when I record videos and speak, and I start the virtual machine.

Steps to reproduce (You can always reproduce) :
- Create Virtual Machine on Virtualbox 5.0.8
- In VM option, make sure that the sound is enabled, Host driver "Pulse audio", Controler "ICH AC97"
- Launch an audio recording (with Audacity for example or A Skype call...)
- Start Virtual Machine.
- Note.

There are no problems with Virtualbox 4.3.x.

Thanks.
