Hello, I assigned this to the gimp maintainer because the mirror list is only used by gimp-related packages. I've run an automated mirror list check and here is the result on the gimp mirror list: Testing "gimp" mirror group... bad: http://de-mirror.gimper.net/pub/gimp/ good: http://gimp.afri.cc/pub/gimp/ good: http://gimper.net/downloads/pub/gimp/ bad: http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/misc/grafik/gimp/gimp good: http://download.gimp.org/pub/gimp A quick fix would be to remove the 2 dead mirrors. Upstream does have a mirror list here: http://www.gimp.org/downloads/ but quite a few of them are not usable, so you'd have to hand pick from that list if you want to add more to this list. Since these gimp packages are all gentoo-mirrored, the vast majority of fetches will be from gentoo, so using a mirror list doesn't have a whole lot of value here, IMHO.
