Which protocol are you using?
Comment 2 Ramon de Ruiter 2004-07-08 01:51:23 UTC
MSN

Just tested with .79-r2 and it worked. It turned me offline to that person and they couldn't IM me till I took them off. I could still IM them and have a conversation.
Comment 4 Ramon de Ruiter 2004-07-11 09:10:35 UTC
I use rc2 too now. As stated above, it does work. I appear offline to people but i can still continue my conversation.
The real problem seems to be that i can't unblock people anymore since gaim thinks that person isn't blocked yet while they are.
Comment 5 Robert Davis 2004-07-15 08:53:38 UTC
So if you go to Tools->Privacy on the Buddy list and select your MSN account they don't show up in the list? Can you try to allow all?
Comment 6 Ramon de Ruiter 2004-07-15 17:00:31 UTC
Oh my...
seems like it could've been my mistake after all. I just expected things differently.

When i click Block in a conversation, the block button doesn't go away, or change into an unblock button. Also the text i send is still received on the other side it seems.
Anyway i guess Gaim just does it's work, just a bit differently from what i expected.

Alright then I'll close this out. Feel free to file an RFE upstream for an "unblock" button if you'd like, but I doubt they'll implement it if there is a present solution.
