The docs reference for Win32 users the MD5 checksum application "md5summer"

This app does not work well. It hangs under XP and produces "file empty" errors when run against a Universal ISO.  

Much better would be to point to the freeware win32 app "md5sum.exe" which is found at

http://www.etree.org/md5com.html

This app works much better.
