Please stabilize: =sys-boot/refind-0.9.2
blocker by sys-boot/gnu-efi to come
what is blocking this now?
maybe 0.10.2 would be a better option for this days :/
(In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #3) > maybe 0.10.2 would be a better option for this days :/ Agreed, however the linked bug will need to be resolved first, which will be looked at by the co-maintainer in the near future.
I proposed a correction for the bug 566930 providing an attachment for version 0.10.2. Probably this attachment 440188 [details, diff] can also be used to close this issue…
Also created a PR: ahttps://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/1921
0.10.2-r1 is in the tree now: https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=1244bd61402c6de3d791eed2f018c906758c00fc
Could this be handled finally? Or did new issues appear? Thanks!
* dependency graph for sys-boot/refind-0.10.2-r1 `-- sys-boot/refind-0.10.2-r1 [~amd64 keyword] `-- sys-boot/gnu-efi-3.0.3 (>=sys-boot/gnu-efi-3.0.2) amd64 `-- sys-boot/udk-2015 (>=sys-boot/udk-2015) ~amd64 sys-boot/udk is not stabilized on any of the arches, we need to either mask the use flag or stabilize that first to proceed.
I just tested and found that refind built with udk-2015, while compiling successfully, fails to boot on my laptop. This may or may not be an upstream issue, but does mean that we can't rely on stabilizing UDK. I haven't heard of any other significant issues, other than bugs already existing. Having said that, I'm keen to get this finally stabilized. I'm happy with forcing USE=gnuefi provided sveyret is.
The remaining bugs have now been resolved and USE=gnuefi is now forced per commit 4aa1e80965d3944af04364c80b25b4562ef21754. Bumping stablereq to 0.10.4-r2.
Please stabilise sys-boot/refind-0.10.4-r2 Target arches: x86, amd64
