you can specify trivial changes (urls, homepage...) as comments. Also, if you DO sumbit an ebuild, make sure to mask out all the archs in KEYWORDS. And finally about an initscript: feel free to write one and submit it in a new bug report. I've bumped the version in portage. Thanks!
