dvisvgm fails altough kpathsea seems to be installed. 
dev-libs/kpathsea installed in version 6.2.1_p20150521

yes, you're mixing ~arch kpathsea with stable dvisvgm, let's stabilize a newer dvisvgm since it's about time anyway
