Description Sebastian Hamann 2015-10-09 20:57:43 UTC
I emerged roxterm-3.1.5 (alongside roxterm-2.9.3-r1) and it does not seem to install any files.

/var/db/pkg/x11-terms/roxterm-3.1.5/CONTENTS is empty.

I tried running
ebuild /usr/portage/x11-terms/roxterm/roxterm-3.1.5.ebuild install
and found that
/var/tmp/portage/x11-terms/roxterm-3.1.5/image
is empty as well.

Here is the output emerging roxterm-3.1.5:
$ emerge -1v --quiet-build=n roxterm:1

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Finally, the obligatory emerge --info. Note that this is a hardened system, which may or may not be related to the issue here.

Comment 1 Alex Xu (Hello71) 2015-10-13 14:59:25 UTC
please paste the output of emerge -pv dev-python/lockfile.
Comment 2 Sebastian Hamann 2015-10-13 16:06:58 UTC
$ emerge -pv dev-python/lockfile

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild   R    ] dev-python/lockfile-0.9.1-r1::gentoo  USE="-doc {-test}" PYTHON_TARGETS="python2_7 python3_4* (-pypy) -python3_3*" 0 KiB

Apparently I forgot to remerge lockfile after switching to python 3.4.
I'm sorry, my mistake. After remerging lockfile, roxterm compiles and installs correctly, as it seems.
Except that I get file collisions with my already installed roxterm-2.9.3. This should not happen, right? That's the point of slotting, isn't it? Anyway, its different issue.
Thank you for your help.
