JAGS has been updated to version 4.0.0.

New SRC_URI should be "mirror://sourceforge/project/mcmc-jags/JAGS/4.x/Source/${MYP}.tar.gz"

You could provide and ebuild and send a PR at Github. We are heavily understaffed. Sadly!

Dear Justin,

I have created a pull request:

I hope I have done it correctly.

I have been trying to find a proper documentation on how to contribute to the gentoo repository in github.com using pull requests, but have not found anything. Maybe I can write my experience in some parts of the wiki, but I don't know if it is exactly under "write ebuilds", or a new page titled "How to contribute to github/gentoo using pull requests".
