Check out this from Mozilla's bugzilla. http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=228261 So, we're building this libwallet.so on gentoo, but the mozilla.org builds doesn't contain it. How come? Noone else has this problem on gentoo? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
I can confirm the problem. I've been experiencing this issue for as long as I've been using Firefox on Gentoo (at least since 0.7, perhaps even earlier versions). The bugzilla.mozilla.org bugreport linked to suggests the 'wallet' extension is the problem. Indeed, after adding '-wallet' to the list of extensions in the configure command used in the ebuild, the problem seems to have disappeared. By the way, the list of extensions in the firefox 0.9.1 ebuild is rather different from the one in (what I think is) the 'official' list in browser/config/mozconfig.
Can confirm that removing the wallet extention does indeed fix the problem.
I've been wondering for a long time what causes this to occur. I'll get it fixed.
Shouldn't this be closed now? I think I saw something about this in the changlogs.
Yes, this is fixed now
