Description Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2015-10-01 11:33:54 UTC
An interesting feature of other gitweb services is that they are able to map "bug $number" fields to links pointing to their default bugzilla, for example:
https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-shell/commit/?id=f6cd3fa5ed4a267b072b3109196634aabe1ff581

Allows you to click on the bug number and go directly to their bugzilla

Maybe it would be interesting to do the same with our gitweb services and point to bugs.gentoo.org by default to cover most of the bug references

Thanks a lot

Didn't I tell you that during the whole ‘in too lazy to type in full bug URL’ discussion? And now, as predicted, you want to hack software to suit this fancy.

At least packages.gentoo.org looks to do it :)
https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/mail-client/thunderbird-bin

(In ChangeLog, letting me to click on the bug number to see the security bug report that needed that stabilization)
