Created attachment 34837 [details] skribe-1.1b.ebuild (only works for beta.17) ebuild for skribe. not yet perfect: - needs bigloo, (and won't work with Stklos) - only works with beta.17 (but should be easily adaptable to new versions)
Created attachment 34838 [details, diff] configure-patch, so the skr-files are found
Created attachment 34839 [details] skribe-1.1a.ebuild again: some restrictions. - uses bigloo (and doesn't even give option for Stklos) - docs are always installed (and I don't think into correct directory)
Created attachment 34840 [details, diff] skribe-1.1a-configure-patch, so the skr-files are found
Created attachment 34841 [details, diff] skribe-1.1b-configure-patch, so the skr-files are found just renamed the old patch.
Created attachment 34842 [details] skribe-1.1b.ebuild (only works for beta.17) slightly improved version of above ebuild. restrictions: - no Stklos-option - docs are not treated correctly - only works for beta.17 (hardcoded)
Created attachment 35088 [details] skribe-1.1b.ebuild updated submitted ebuilds were unfortunately broken. (skribe-config returned bad values). This ebuild takes a new approach, and seems to work. but only for the newest skribe-version.
just wanted to say, that there's already skribe 1.2d out there. I'm currently busy, but at the end of the month (perhaps beginning of july), I'll try to adapt the ebuilds for the new version. (AFAIK skribe 1.2d depends on a recent version of Bigloo, which isn't in portage either).
from upstream page Manuel Serrano can no longer maintain and develop Skribe
Now that Manuel is not improving Skribe anymore, it would be a good idea to add an ebuild for the last version. At least it won't change anymore. We are still several members in the team that use Skribe, and even Manuel is still using it... So while there won't be any new features, it should continue compiling. I'm not having Gentoo anymore, so I won't be able to create an ebuild, though.
