Description toni miettinen 2004-07-05 07:41:27 UTC
emerging dcgui-qt from portage results in broken dcgui-qt which crashes normally on entering a hub. when compiled by hand, it worked fine. i friend of mine had the same problem with his system.

You have to give more information.

* emerge info
* Did you specify other cflags when compiling by hand?
* log of the crashing
Comment 2 toni miettinen 2004-07-06 08:47:52 UTC
emerge showed no errors, if you mean that by emerge info..
cflags were the same.
dcgui-qt output:

more accurately, the crashing usually happens when you hit the search-button
on a hub.

I am unable to reproduce this error; could you please recompile dclib/dcgui-qt and see if that helps?

reopen with your "emerge --info" after recompiling dclib and dcgui-qt and if you're still getting this error.
