The ebuild for a stable version of kicad has been removed from portage which makes it impossible to recompile it against new libraries. I do not have this problem, yet and will probably upgrade kicad anyway. However, IMHO stable ebuilds should not be removed if not replaced with new stable versions. If there was a reason to remove those old versions then the changelog entry should contain it. Reproducible: Always
