Created attachment 412070 [details, diff] Fix for latex-caption ticket #21 as implemented in r100 upstream The caption package as present in dev-texlive/latex-recommended-2015 is incompatible with the beamer class as provided by dev-tex/latex-beamer-3.36. See issue 261 [^1] in the beamer bugtracker or ticket #21 [^2] in caption's bugtracker. The latter also links to the fix, which was implemented in r100 [^3] of the caption package. I have modified it a little bit to apply to the files as shipped as part of dev-texlive/latex-recommended-2015 in Gentoo. I confirm that it works.
