I notice that Okteta stop working after latest updates. It simply freezes at start and that's it. When I try to close it, I get default KDE dialog: Application "okteta" is not responding - Terminate? I write here, and not in KDE bugzilla, because according to portage, last okteta update was in 18 Feb 2015, but bug appears not more than few weeks. So, it's looks like some okteta dependency broken. There is nothing interesting in stdout: okteta(28791)/kdeui (kdelibs): Attempt to use QAction "" with KXMLGUIFactory! okteta(28791)/kdecore (KLibrary) findLibraryInternal: plugins should not have a 'lib' prefix: "libkonsolepart.so" okteta(28791) KSambaSharePrivate::testparmParamValue: Running testparm ("-d0", "-s", "--parameter-name", "usershare path") revdep-rebuild didn't find any broken libs. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install kde-apps/okteta 2. Start Okteta % emerge --info Portage 2.2.20.1 (python 2.7.9-final-0, default/linux/amd64/13.0/desktop/kde, gcc-4.8.5, glibc-2.20-r2, 4.0.5-gentoo x86_64) Are you able to get a backtrace at all of where it's hanging?
Can you give example how i can do it?
Here is similar bugs: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=297214 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=331857 Actually, Okteta is not completely freezed. It became 'zombie' for about a minute, and then works normaly. After it starts woking - it shows this message in stdout: okteta(20054)/kdecore (K*TimeZone*): KSystemTimeZones: ktimezoned initialize() D-Bus call failed: "Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken." Also it can be fixed if I run okteta with: dbus-launch --exit-with-session okteta Looks like general problem of KDE. Should I create bugreport on kde.bugs?
Is this reproducible with =kde-apps/okteta-15.12.3?
I'am still using 4.14.3.
(In reply to RazrFalcon from comment #5) > I'am still using 4.14.3. Ok tested with 15.12.3. Works for me.
Yes. 15.12.3 works fine.
